Project Description
Designed to focus on the beautiful views of the La Plata Mountains by RLA Architects and custom built by Mantell-Hecathorn Builders, this home obtained an NAHB Green Building Gold Level certification- it was the second such certification in Southwest Colorado. Built on 35 acres, this home not only features spectacular mountain views, lots of wildlife, and a peaceful atmosphere but a HERS rating of 61 that will save the homeowner an estimated 39% in utility costs as well as create a healthier, more comfortable and durable home. Attention to detail is evident in the finish work and the long-term durability construction techniques of Mantell-Hecathorn Builders.
Greg and Hunter built a custom vacation home for us and we couldn't be happier with the results. We received personal attention throughout the process.
